Hey.
I guess the last few days have been pretty good.
Thursday we did swordfighting at Forest Forge which was tres fun.
Started off with bamboo stick which was kinda awkward but eventually we got to go up in a pair and use the proper rapiers
..heh..in front of everyone..but i guess it's Forest Forge so I don't really care.
Anyhoo we learnt a few tricks (like throwing it up in the air and catching it...think i need a liiiitle bit of work on that...heh..), then learnt some parried, and then learnt a sequence. must admit i really got into it ^^; heh...frana has bloodlust buried in there somewhere....
who'd a thunk it.
Today most of year 10 went to le skills festival in dorchester which was ok. Hung around with Rach, Micha, and Tom for most of it....we watched Tom demonstrate the air steward routine which was awesome XD Tom you ROCK!
what else did we do.....well we stayed inside for most of it seeing as it was FUCKING FREEZING. But we braved outside to get some face paint done in army camouflage(...and that's not how you spell it. rargh.) stuff.....methinks im gonna ahve a hard time trying to get it off :P
also did a bit of paintballing out there avec targets..and i mean a BIT. we only got a few seconds >.< bastards.
Ah..but then we all got to control a JCB which was muchly cool :D and the instructor dude was really nice...heh..methinks rach's bro simon will be jealous :P
we buggered off back inside and looked at media and art....which was fun cos i got to control a camera which is used for tv shows...but i am so small i had to stand on tiptoes to look through the right place ^^; Micha had a go with the fluffeh michrophone too XD hehe...and interviewed Matt....who we barely know..but hey :P
there were quite a few people crowded round the music section...recognised a few of my friends mucking round on the guitars and drums...
including james.
who wouldnt shift his ass for 30 minutes...it was rather annoying..he kept playing the same thing over and over and wouldnt let anyone else play ¬.¬ he can be such a selfish bastard......
You could get some stage make up done to look as of you'd been knifed in the face...which i really wanted..but the queue was too long XD looked really realistic though! some people were walking around looking as if theyd been shot in the head...which was hilarious..if rather gross :P
There was loads of other stuff, but not as interesting. Lots of the good stuff had huge queues, so we didnt bother with them. Twas a pretty good day though.
I do have photos, but i really can't be arsed to put thenm on here right now ^^; maybe tomorrow or something when i'm feeling nice....
...because right now i feel pretty bad >.< but nothing much to worry about. you've heard the excuses before anyway :P
